Jackson Star, complete … on a 24 count linen and using DMC 791 & 817 [The Man’s choice], the feel is definitely old-time patriotic.

The stitch layout lends itself to needlepoint very well and the orientation can be square or en pointe … I make it again with different colors: your suggestions would be most welcome. 

Maybe that will be the way to best present it ~ either match the color duo with the fabric used or allow the customer to choose.
